Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
First Reset (“First Reset”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website 1streset.com and the First Reset online program (together, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name, email address, and a password (stored in hashed form) when you create an account.
- Free guide requests — your name, email address, and optionally your phone number when you request the free 7-day kickstart guide or join our email list.
- Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are sent directly to Stripe and never stored on our servers; we keep only a record of the purchase (plan, amount, date, and Stripe's payment reference).
- Program activity — progress you choose to record in the member area, such as completed lessons, workouts, and meal-plan usage.
- Community content — posts and replies you publish in the member community, which are visible to other members.
- Messages — anything you send us by email or through the Service.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) used for security and to keep the Service running.
- Referral codes — if you arrive through a referral link, the referral code is stored in your browser for up to 30 days so we can credit the person who referred you.
- Advertising measurement — we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which sets identifiers to measure how well our ads perform. See “Cookies & Similar Technologies” below.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the program you purchased and operate your account.
- To process payments and deliver receipts.
- To send transactional emails (such as your welcome email or account notices) and, where you have opted in, marketing emails — you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To answer support requests.
- To measure and improve the Service and our advertising.
- To detect abuse and protect the security of the Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use a small number of cookies and browser-storage technologies:
- Login session — a token kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in to the member area.
- Stripe — cookies set during checkout for payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertising-measurement identifiers. You can limit Meta's use of this data in your Facebook ad preferences, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies entirely.
4. Sharing Your Information
We share information only with the service providers that make the Service work, and only for the purposes described in this policy:
- Stripe — payment processing (Stripe privacy policy).
- Meta Platforms — advertising measurement (Meta privacy policy).
- Hosting providers — our website and application infrastructure (currently Vercel and DigitalOcean).
We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a business transfer (for example a merger or sale), in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. Purchase records are kept as long as we need them for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information at any time (see “Your Rights” below).
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information — encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and payment handling delegated entirely to Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@1streset.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
The Service is intended for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Health Information
The Service is a fitness and nutrition education program, not a medical service. Any progress information you record (such as completed workouts) is stored as ordinary account data and is not a medical record. We do not ask for, and you should not submit, medical records through the Service.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the Service.
